This song, featuring Far East Movement (AKA the “G6″ guys), has been remixed quite a few times, but none better than KATB & Kroyclub.

Boys Will Be Boys is a new project consisting of Tiesto, Angger Dimas, and the Janssen brothers of Showtek. With the electronic music genre moving more and more towards hard hitting electro, trance mogul DJ Tiesto has been seeking out fresh minds to help transition his sound (*cough* Hardwell *cough*). Available on beatport as, Boys Will Be Boys’ We Rock EP lets us hear 2 new tracks from the bunch, ‘We Party’ and a more progressive ‘We Tell.’ Although ‘We Rock’ is without a doubt the stand out track of the EP, all three are solid productions. With that much talent in one studio, how could they not be?

Where Were You In 2002

Do you remember Trance? By late 2002 the scene was huge, with several years of consistent big hits coming out, and the birth of massive raves. But that year marked the beginning of the end, and the gradual transformation into the new sound of Electro Clash (remember Party Monster?). If you like todays modern Electro, you have to have a soft spot in you heart for the old school Trance Days.

And speaking of 2002, watch for the opening of MAGIC - Wednesday July 6th in Hollywood. A new club with a touch of the past.

Here's some of the big tunes from back in the day...

Alice DeeJay - Better Off Alone (12" Mix)

Song Of The Week

On Monday Afrojack came out with his remix of Sweat, by the unlikely duo of David Guetta & Snoop Dogg. I made a few changes to to mix, kinda customized it for the clubs I play. The intro was long and boring, and the break was just too much for my liking. So I made it the way I want it to be. Here's my supped up club edit that I'll be playing around town. -Bruce Perdew
