Yes, the weekend is finally here!!! Here we have a crazy amount of big time bangerz found this week, all of them all going to be played tonight at Clockwork Orange. So you would be well advised, to get you butt to the club tonight, and dance your ass off! -Bruce Perdew
Ok, so I'll be honest. I have high hopes for Christina Aguilera's upcoming album Bionic. She has a very powerful voice and has worked with some pretty rad producers on this record, including members of Ladytron. Her first single isn't as impressive as I would have expected with an album as hyped as hers. Instead, I feel Not Myself Tonight is a very standard "I've heard this before on the radio" kind of a song. The video is at least more enjoyable than the song, but does anybody see the resemblance to another female artists in the video? I think Christina might not be herself tonight because she is trying to be Gaga, at least when it comes to the styles in the video. That is just my opinion, so we'll have to see what future looks Christina will bring to her Bionic era. Until then you can check out the video below and see if you can spot any Gagaisms. -Andrew Disorder
DJ Fast Eddie gained immense popularity during the heyday of the eighties Chicago House scene. In 1986 he collaborated Kenny "Jammin'" Jason to come out with "Can U Dance," one of the biggest songs out at the time. Now almost 25 years later, several remixes have come out, and brought the song up to date. -Bruce Perdew
I must say I love Alphabeat's second album The Spell. It is exactly what pop music should be. It is fun, light-hearted, and totally danceable. Alphabeat are back with The Spell's third single DJ. The video features a new edit of the song, which will be released on the CD single. Can somebody say 90s Dance Party!!!-Andrew Disorder
Editors have a brand new video for their third single Eat Raw Meat=Blood Drool off their third studio album In This Light And On This Evening. The video was directed by the Lennox Brothers, and features really bizarre animated sequences. -Andrew Disorder

So this time around, James Brown is actually dead. From half a world away in Ukraine, Tigran Oganezov brings us a Dark Techno update of the early nineties rave classic. - Bruce Perdew
Probably the biggest song of the Winter Music Conference was Barbra Streisand from the dynamic duo (A-Trak &Armand Van Helden) that is Duck Sauce. It's a song that takes it to the next level, completely blowin the shit up! If you've seen the youtube videos from Miami, then you already seen the kids go crazy to it. The hook will get stuck in you head, and have you humming it the whole ride home. We'll repost this each time we find a new remix, or until the regular version comes out. -Bruce Perdew
Today the music world got a glimpse into a new musical project entitled How To Destroy Angels. There is no certainty as to who is behind the new website, twitter, youtube account, and 40-second video clip. The rumors point to Nine Inch Nails mastermind Trent Reznor and his wife, and former singer of West Indian Girl, Mariqueen Maandig. There were rumors before that the couple would work on music together, but this new project has everyone thinking that the rumors are true. According to a press release, the band will be releasing a 6 track self-titled E.P. this summer. If it is in fact Trent, can we assume he will play some shows to promote the album. After all, he vowed NIN wouldn't tour, not that he himself wouldn't do any shows. One can only wait and see what How To Destroy Angels has in store for the world of music. -Andrew Disorder
The schizophrenic sounds of Crystal Castles are back, with their sophomore album, which coincidentally has the same name as the first album. While a few tracks seem to pick up with the 8-bit sounds from where the first album left off, they've broadened their music to touch on other genres such as Synth Pop & Dark Wave. -Bruce Perdew
When M.I.A. recently went on the record to diss Lady Gaga I decided that the Arular and Kala artist was no longer worth my time. In an issue of NME she stated, "None of her (Gaga's) music's reflective of how weird she wants to be or thinks she is. She's not progressive, but she's a good mimic. She sounds more like me than I fucking do! That's a talent...but she's the industry's last stab at making itself important." When I heard this comment I thought to myself, "wern't you the one who sold out and had your song Paper Planes featured in Pineapple Express????" When artists diss other artists in public I feel it opens them up as targets, and I vowed not to give M.I.A.'s jealous ass a second thought, but this video and upcoming album might be her saving grace.
She enlisted the help of French director Romain Gavras to help bring the new track, Born Free, to life. It is a chilling video that can best be described as commentary on the senselessness of genocide and the absurdity of discrimination. The video depicts soldiers rounding up red-headed males before violently attacking them. This video is so violent that it was taken off youtube. I must say I love the track because it has the underground feel that Arular did. If the rest of her album is as creative and as powerful as Born Free is, than I must say that this is going to blow Kala out of the water. -Andrew Disorder
This is a fun video I came across the other day while listening to music. It is the video for the 2002 track Me And Madonna by the Parisian electro band Black Strobe (Blackstrobe). -Andrew Disorder

Way back in 2003, Proper Filthy Naughty, aka John Ross, brought us what turns out to be one of the last great songs in the classic electroclash genre. Seven years later, the song is still one of the most asked about, and most requested songs from that era. The Droids Ghetto mix came out on Larry Tee's Electroclash Vol 2. -Bruce Perdew
Matt Kemp's girlfriend gets a drum & bass remix. First heard this on Annie Mac's Radio 1 show back in March, and now it finally available. -Bruce Perdew
