Monday Morning

Christina Aguilera has just released her latest album Bionic. As part of the deluxe edition, you get the fantastic bonus disc which includes the track Monday Morning. This totally sounds like a fun indie dance track, very much in the vain of The Bravery or The Virgins. The reason for that might be because it was written by The Bravery's Sam Endicott and indie singer Santigold. Bionic is half indie goodness, and half radio friendly pop. Check out Monday Morning by clicking the link. -Andrew Disorder

Alejandro Parody

So we all know that the Gaga track Alejandro sounds like a mix between Ace Of Base's Don't Turn Around and Madonna's La Isla Bonita, but comedian La Coacha makes it a point to remind us just how much Alejandro sounds like it was ripped from the 90s. -Andrew Disorder

Alejandro

Our Lady of Gagalupe has just unveiled her third video off The Fame Monster, Alejandro. The video features Lady Gaga ruling over an army of almost nude homo-erotic soldiers (how fitting). This video throws in a lot of elements we have seen in Madonna videos, such as the religious imagery of Like A Prayer, the black-and-white dance sequence from Vogue, and the kinkiness of Justify My Love. Even the machine gun bra Gaga rocks pays homage to the cone bra that Madge once wore. While Gaga uses elements of what the pop world has given us before, she morphs them into something that she can call her own. That is why we love Gaga! Check out the new Gaga video below, and be sure to tell us what you think! Is this video too Madonna or is it something more? -Andrew Disorder
